Benjamin Parth Named “Chef of the Month” (Issue 1/24) by Germany’s Leading Gourmet Magazine Der Feinschmecker
Last year, the Falstaff Gourmetclub—made up of over 20,000 registered members—awarded Tyrolean star chef Benjamin Parth’s gourmet restaurant Stüva, located in Hotel YSCLA in Ischgl, an outstanding 98 out of 100 points, crowning it the top restaurant in Tyrol. This top ranking was reaffirmed during the recent presentation of the new Falstaff Restaurant & Inn Guide 2024 at Vienna’s City Hall.
The ratings in the Falstaff Restaurant & Inn Guide are based on a one-of-a-kind concept in Austria: members of the publisher’s exclusive Gourmetclub visit the country’s best 2,000 restaurants and inns throughout the year and submit their votes to Falstaff. These votes are compiled into an overall score for each restaurant, published annually in the guide. Each vote is broken down into four categories: Food (max. 50 points), Service (max. 20), Wine List (max. 20), and Ambience (max. 10).
Falstaff awards the Gourmetrestaurant Stüva its highest culinary rating

With a perfect 50/50 score in the Food category, Falstaff honors Benjamin Parth with the highest possible rating. The review highlights his use of top-tier ingredients, world-class sauces, and an exceptional cheese selection. Delighted by his renewed top ranking in the 2024 Falstaff Guide, the Tyrolean chef shared: “I’m proud to once again be named Tyrol’s top chef with 98 points and to be among Austria’s culinary elite. This recognition is a wonderful validation of our work, and I especially want to thank my kitchen team for their dedication.”
The current Falstaff Restaurant & Inn Guide is now available for €15.90 in Austrian bookstores and online at falstaff.com/guides.
