Gourmetrestaurant Stüva in Ischgl earns 19 points again in Gault&Millau 2024, reaffirming its top-tier status.

Top Honors Reconfirmed for Tyrolean Star Chef Benjamin Parth: 5 Toques and 19 Points in Gault&Millau 2024

Austria’s prestigious gourmet guide Gault&Millau has once again awarded Benjamin Parth the highest possible rating of 5 toques and 19 points for his Gourmetrestaurant Stüva at the 4****S Boutique Hotel YSCLA in Ischgl. After receiving this top score for the first time last year, the editors of the guide, Martina and Karl Hohenlohe, reaffirmed Parth’s ranking during the recent presentation of the Gault&Millau Restaurant Guide 2024. Only seven other top chefs across Austria received the same elite rating.

“Proud and grateful,” Benjamin Parth said after the award ceremony held Tuesday evening at Hotel SO/Vienna in Vienna, praising his restaurant and kitchen team: “True to our motto of getting better every day, we strive for absolute perfection in our culinary creations at the highest level of quality. That our place among Europe’s culinary elite has been reaffirmed with 5 toques and 19 points by Gault&Millau makes me proud, and I want to thank my entire team—especially my wife Sarah—for their tireless dedication.”

Gault&Millau justified Parth’s renewed top rating in the 2024 guide by citing “the breathtaking quality of the dishes, flawless execution, exceptional precision in temperature and logistics, and an obsession with ingredient quality.” Seafood dishes like wild turbot and langoustine were singled out as “simply world-class.”

Alongside Benjamin Parth’s Stüva—named after the Rhaeto-Romanic word for “stube”—only seven other top restaurants in Austria received 5 toques and 19 points. In Tyrol, Parth remains the region’s only 5-toque chef, holding his unchallenged position at the top.

Boutique Hotel YSCLA: A Culinary Powerhouse with 7 Toques Under One Roof

In addition to Gourmetrestaurant Stüva, the hotel’s second toque-rated venue, Space 73, was also reviewed again. Serving as a restaurant, lounge, and café, Space 73 offers exquisite snacks, desserts, and finger food. It was awarded 2 toques and 14 points in the Gault&Millau Restaurant Guide 2024. Described as a “trendy and modern meeting spot for locals and guests,” the review highlighted its refined desserts like Crêpes Suzette and its outstanding wine list. The hotel’s wine cellar, Celerina, houses one of the largest collections of rare wines and spirits in the Alpine region. With a total of 7 toques under one roof, the 4****S Boutique Hotel YSCLA is truly a gourmet haven.
