Sean Paul
Few artists have become synonymous with dancehall, but Sean Paul has. With eight studio albums, he has taken the genre worldwide, blending dancehall, reggae, ragga, and pop into a global phenomenon. With African, Portuguese, Chinese, and English roots, he rose from Kingston clubs to the top of the charts and the biggest arenas in over 120 countries.
His debut album Stage One was released in 2000, but it was the multi-platinum follow-up Dutty Rock (2002) that catapulted him to worldwide fame. Supported by five Top-15 singles, including the #1 hit Get Busy, Dutty Rock won the Grammy for Best Reggae Album and earned him a nomination for Best New Artist—the first time a dancehall artist achieved such recognition. His latest album Scorcha delivers the perfect vibes for wild party nights. Over his 20+ year career, Sean Paul has received multiple Grammy and Billboard Music Award nominations, along with an American Music Award, MOBO Award, and BET Award. Collaborations with stars like Beyoncé, Sia, Dua Lipa, Becky G., Farruko, Enrique Iglesias, and Ty Dolla have contributed to his ongoing success.
